About Me
I’m Alia, a young wife exploring all things homemaking and homesteading. I grew up in a Christian homeschool household, and I hold traditional family values as well as the mindset of homesteading. As my husband and I strive for frugality, especially in this first year of marriage, I am inspired to continue learning skills and share my progress so others can learn, too.
On this blog, I share what I know and practice as well as what I’m learning. I will primarily be sharing about practical aesthetic homesteading. When I set out to implement something in my home, I want to be sure that it is practical and useful as well as aesthetically pleasing. This makes it much easier for me to keep up with it and value its place in my home.
While there are many transitions in the next year that prevent a garden or animals, my husband and I value the mindset of homesteading. I will share what we are able to implement in our apartment and on our journey as we hope and plan for a family, land, and a “true” homestead.
